Marko's Story

Hi! I have a sleep disturbance condition called nocturnal insomnia (night time awakenings). That’s when you wake up too early at night and have trouble falling asleep again. This condition has forced me to optimize everything I can regarding sleep so I don’t lie there in bed sleepless until it’s time to go to work. I’ve had this condition for 5 years and still going so learning about sleep and optimizing it has become one of my biggest interests in life. This site is an extension of that interest and a passion project for me. I created this site so I can help others sleep better with sleep science information and tips & tricks. 

I have come to understand that improving sleep is a holistic approach. One better pillow is a step in the right direction, a better mattress is another step. But if you are suffering from sleep related illnesses that is usually not going to be enough. Both normal sleepers and sleep sufferers can benefit from a holistic approach which include:

  • Meditation and/or Relaxation
  • Your bed and bedding 
  • Good Sleep Habits
  • Evening Food Habits that do not disturb sleep
